
Titus Rukudzo Chideme is a PhD student at the International Study Group, University of the Free State. He holds a BA with majors in Economic History and History from the University of Zimbabwe (2013) and an MSc in Development Studies from Women’s University in Africa (2016). He also holds an MA in African Economic History from the University of Zimbabwe (2021). Chideme has more than 10 years’ experience as a history teacher in Zimbabwe. His research Interest lies in the socio-economic and environmental history of Zimbabwe, in particular mining and cement manufacturing in colonial and post colonial Zimbabwe.
