The Frequency Distribution is based on information from all respondents from your institution. The results are also compared by gender and first-generation status.
BUSSE scales provide a useful summary of the detailed information included in your students’ BUSSE responses. By combining responses to the related BUSSE questions, each scale offers valuable information about a distinct aspect of your first-year expectations regarding student engagement at university level. Nine scales, based on three to seven survey questions each (a total of 42 survey questions), are organised into two themes: High-school engagement and First-year Expectations.
This section of the report provides an overview of how accurately the sample of respondents represents an institution’s actual first-year student population. The results are also compared by gender and first-generation status.
