KovsieNetball is synonymous with excellence, driven by a strong desire to succeed and an unwavering commitment to doing their best. Emphasising the importance of willpower over outcome, KovsieNetball teaches that success is defined by dedication and passion.

Excellence
Achieving significant success, KovsieNetball has produced 25 South African netball players who have developed their skills on its courts. These athletes have progressed from local leagues to international arenas, showcasing their resilience and pride. Over the years, numerous Protea, provincial, and district players have been developed at the UFS. The university has also clinched the VarsityNetball title in 2013, 2014, 2018, and 2021. Each championship victory showcases the team's precise play and unwavering spirit, underscoring the university’s commitment to excellence in netball.

Facilities
The netball facilities include six netball courts where players train, develop their skills, and strategise. On the Qwaqwa Campus, floodlights allow for training and matches to continue into the evening, providing flexibility for practice sessions and competitions.
