Thank you for your interest in applying for the Merit Sport Bursaries at the University of the Free State (UFS). These bursaries are awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional sporting talent, with a minimum requirement of provincial participation.

Please note the following important information:

  1. Bursaries are awarded exclusively to registered UFS students.
  2. Applications must be submitted by 30 September. Motivated ad hoc cases will be considered until 30 November.
  3. Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete, as faulty or incomplete applications may be cancelled.
