Mavis Mbiriri completed her Diploma in Education (Geography and History) at the University of Zimbabwe, Hillside Teachers College, before going on to complete her BSc Honours in Education (Geography) and MSc Natural Resource Management and Environmental Sustainability at the Bindura University of Science Education (Zimbabwe). She is currently registered for her PhD in the Department of Geography (Supervisor: Dr G Mukwada).

Serero Modise completed his BSc (Zoology), BSc Honours (Entomology) and MSc (Botany) at the University of the Free State – Qwaqwa Campus. He is currently registered for his PhD in the Department of Zoology and Entomology (Supervisors: Dr E Bredenhand and Dr M Stander).

Mantshadi Yvonne Tladi obtained the BEd (Hons) and MEd (Education management and leadership) degrees from the University of the Free State. She is currently registered for her PhD in the School of Education Studies at the Qwaqwa Campus (Promoter: Dr CT Tsotetsi).

Simon Mofokeng completed his BSc (Zoology) and BSc (Entomology) at the University of the Free State – Qwaqwa Campus, and is currently studying towards his MSc in the Department of Zoology and Entomology (Supervisors: Dr E Bredenhand and Dr C Seymour).

Agnes Mokotywa holds a BSc and BSc Honours degrees in Zoology from the University of the Free State. She is registered for her MSc in the Department of Zoology and Entomology (Supervisor: Dr A le Roux).
