SCOPE OF INFORMATION


Short Description of the SLP: This SLP aims to incorporate the use of GIS in urban theories that are imperative to the planning process. It will thus include discussion of the gravity model, capturing data, spatial analysis, and making maps using the softwre and spatial data alignment to these theories.
Admission Requirements: Urban and Regional Planning Practitioners.
GIS Practitioners.
Other users of GIS within the Spatial Planning fraternity.
Postgraduate qualification.
Computer literacy.
Learning Duration: 4 Days
