Short Description of the SLP: |
The programme provides participants with the needed competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) to facilitate a better understanding of the human resources environment and manage human resource development processes and practices in municipalities. |

Senior Managers, Middle Managers, Junior Managers and Representatives from Labour at Academic Level 5. |

One week/50 Hours, of which 6 hours face to face per day and 2 hours per day dedicated to self-study |

By the end of this programme, participants will gain a better understanding of the: • Legislative Framework governing Human Resource Management in South Africa and the implications on organisations. • Theoretical Framework of Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development and how to apply it. • Importance and value of Evidenced Policy and Practice and how to apply this and make a greater impact. • Application of the Integrated Management Framework for HRD and how to apply a variety of HRD tools. |
