Short Description of the SLP: |
Professional nurses in the public health care system and in the private sector are required to render stoma care to patients, minimising the complications of ostomies and improving the patient’s quality of life. There is currently no other Higher Education Institution in South Africa who offers this programme.

Admission Requirements: |
Degree/Diploma in Nursing with a registration as professional nurse at the SANC according to the Nursing Act, Act No. 33 of 2005. Preferably working in a stoma practice or ward |
