Curriculum Renewal Innovation in Higher Education (CRIH)
Short Learning Programme (SLP)

What is it? We designed the CRIH SLP to empower academics to reflect on and plan for quality learning and teaching; to plan and
implement changes to their current curricula, to receive individualised feedback to enhance their teaching
skills and to develop solutions to the challenges academics face in a 21st-century classroom.
Why is it important? The SLP aims to create an environment for academic staff to redesign their modules/courses by considering the
purpose, their students, and the Higher Education context through sound curriculum design principles.
How is it implemented? The delivery and structure of the five-week online programme will support the learning process, provide ample opportunities for participants to learn key concepts and apply them to their own contexts as part of the curriculum renewal process. During the programme, participants will complete a study guide for their chosen module.
