Learning Technology Support

What is it? The Learning Technology Support service supports students when they use our LMS, Cirrus assessment, and other University of the Free State (UFS) educational and learning technologies, such as Class Collaborate, FeedbackFruits, LinkedIn Learning, Panopto, and Turnitin.

Why is it important? Through the support and services offered, students receive assistance with troubleshooting technical issues encountered with technology. Students also receive hands-on training to make the most of educational and learning technologies and to succeed in their studies.

How is it implemented? Students can report technical issues to the Educational Technology Support Desk and Cirrus Assessment Helpdesk. We also keep students up to date on progress through live updates and communication via their UFS email account. Students can finally find answers to common questions, and access helpful resources through the self-service portal.
