On the 20 – 21 January 2026, the University of the Free State then conducted a train the trainer entrepreneurship retooling workshop. The target participants were university lecturers, TVET facilitators and trainers from youth development organisations. 

This workshop focused on shifting pedagogy and improving practical skills for facilitation:

• Best practices for embedding entrepreneurship and innovation into existing academic courses.
• Techniques for running practical, hands-on, and challenge-based training sessions for youth.
